I love staying at Haus Drei König. The welcome is incredibly warm, and you immediately feel at home. For a serious mountain hiker, the accommodation offers everything you could need: a fantastic breakfast with fruit, eggs, various yogurts, fresh cold cuts and cheeses, and of course, fresh bread rolls. The location is perfect for climbing the surrounding mountains. You can also get tips from the owners, who have hiked the trails themselves. There's a drinking water fountain right in front of the house, ideal for refilling your hydration pack for free. Ample parking is also available in front of the house. An absolute insider tip for anyone seeking peace and quiet in the mountains, far from mass tourism. My next visit is already booked! :)

This lovingly and tastefully furnished guesthouse, thanks in part to its very friendly and helpful hostess, is a truly inviting place to stay. It's located in the heart of Elmen, a charming and unspoiled village far removed from mass tourism. The beautifully presented breakfast, with its abundance of fresh fruit, muesli, cold cuts, and coffee, is also a real treat. The Lechtal valley was an absolute highlight of my two-week cycling trip. I will definitely return to this very guesthouse to explore the many hiking trails available here. With the Lechtal Activcard, which you receive at the accommodations, you can travel on the bus for free, and some cable cars are also included.

I've stayed in more basic accommodations before, but Haus Drei König was relatively expensive for what it offered. Specifically, the following points of criticism: a) Before our arrival, the room on the second floor wasn't preheated. The room (and the entire floor) was unfortunately quite cold – even after a while, it didn't really get warm. The radiator was lukewarm until about 9:00 PM, and then it was switched off completely during the night. b) The toilet/shower was small (that would be acceptable, but...) and had no door – absolutely no door! Not even a glass one or a curtain. This is very inconvenient for two people, as one of them always has to leave the room when the other uses the toilet. c) There was only a single chair in the room, which is rather impractical for two people. d) Breakfast was very basic. There were two rolls, two slices of bologna/ham, and two slices of cheese per person, plus muesli; otherwise, there was hardly any choice. No eggs or bacon. (Unfortunately, I believed all the good reviews when booking.)
