Generous portions yet still of high quality served by super friendly staff. We enjoyed our dinner very much especially after a long day of ski. Such a hidden gem in this village. Highly recommended.

Hidden gem in Saas Grund. Did a family retreat on half-board and it was super value for money. The breakfasts are generous. The dinners have flavour, spirit and volume. The food is not subtle (in a good way) and has character. One really feels like one is being hosted by a traditional Swiss family in this quaint family-run hotel. Very family-friendly atmosphere including a playground and trampoline in the backyard. If you want an authentic Swiss experience in peaceful surroundings, this is the right place. (If you want glitz and glamour, go to St. Moritz…)

Mr. Egon and Ms. Astrid are unfortunately not very friendly hosts and the food is lacking taste. I would honestly never spend more than 80$ per night for this hotel, much nicer hotels are nearby. It gets very hard to sleep when more guests are in the hotel as you can hear pretty much EVERYTHING!
