Hotel Restorant Villa Golden

A hotel that has great potential. Stunning views all around. Beautifully located in the valley of Theth. Idyllic Albania village life all around with goat herds, sheep, valleys, waterfalls and streams. You can dine under the sky. The hotel itself is okay. The staff are friendly, but not too professional. One of them told my friend to eat what was served to him. It's reasonably priced. The food can be good on occasion, especially the local meats. But don't expect much in terms of service. We'll pick another hotel next time.

Avoid Villa Golden in Theth – Truly a Horrible Experience We were a group of 10 people who chose this place after reading reviews on Booking.com and Google. Although we weren’t fully convinced, we decided to give it a try since we were a large group. Unfortunately, this turned out to be one of the worst stays we’ve ever had, and here’s why: • Unwelcoming Atmosphere: From the moment we arrived, the place did not feel warm or hospitable. The staff were indifferent and not friendly. • Horrible Smell: Every room, especially on the first floor, reeked of sewage. Clearly, the drainage is not installed properly. • Power Issues: The property seems to run on generators with frequent power problems. Strangely, the entire first floor was without electricity the whole night, while the second floor had power. We couldn’t even charge our phones. • Unsafe Rooms: The corners of the beds are sharp and dangerous. Combine that with no lights (thanks to the power cut), and you’re bound to hurt yourself. • Terrible Service: The staff were unhelpful. When we requested some food, they flatly refused, saying, “This is what the chef made.” • Rigid Breakfast Policy: Breakfast is served only when the entire group sits down together — meaning we had to wait until all 10 of us were present before they would serve anything. • Facilities Not Working: The coffee machine didn’t work. The ice machine didn’t work. Very disappointing. • Food: The only redeeming factor was that the food was decent — but that alone cannot justify staying here. Overall, this was a pathetic experience. Please, please do yourself a favor and find another place to stay in Theth. Villa Golden is simply not worth your time or money. My honest suggestion: DO NOT stay here.

The view was amazing, the room was beautiful but the first night we went there was no hot water and the ac didnt work. The next day the water was ok so we could shower which was so annoying because my husband and i drove for more then 5 hours and we couldnt even take shower.Also not all the food in the menu was available . So i would rate it 4/10
