Hotel Waldhaus

Wonderful location, great view! The coffee was disappointing, one of the worst I had for a while. And the specialty ice cream was basicly a cup of melted icecream with some watery fruit pieces. The apple cake was ok.

Rating for the restaurant. Waldhaus a welcome sight after hiking down the valley. We enjoyed lunch in the porch. Kind and efficient service, classic Swiss food, incredible view and so quiet!

Very cozy place to eat a little snack or lunch before getting into the Gasterntal. In this season the apricots in the area are ripe, and the apricot cake was absolutely amazing.
