Gasthaus Reiser

Thank you for the lovely evening; the food was excellent and the service very friendly and efficient. It's clear the team works together exceptionally well. We'll gladly come back. I highly recommend Gasthaus Reiser to everyone.

The four of us stayed at the Gasthof Reiser in Altdorf and were greeted with genuine warmth from the moment we arrived. Upon entering, we were immediately assisted with our walker. You can tell right away: Here, people are the priority. The service was attentive, calm, competent, and very friendly. The food arrived promptly and was absolutely delicious – simply a delight. We were particularly touched by the loving and respectful way our companion, who is over 90 years old and uses a walker, was treated. Just as our meal was being served, he urgently needed to use the restroom. Without any fuss, the waiter took the plates away, placed everything in a warm spot, and waited patiently. When we returned a considerable time later, everything was, of course, served again. Such understanding and kindness are rare. Even a minor mishap was handled with remarkable ease: When I accidentally dropped a full bottle of mineral water, the owner herself came over, remained friendly, and cleaned everything up. A place brimming with genuine hospitality, heart, and professionalism. We felt completely at ease and would love to come back again.

From the wonderful ambience to the friendly and attentive service to the excellent cuisine - everything was perfect!
