Cascina Toledina

I had a wonderful stay with a warm welcome by everyone and a tasty community dinner. The kitchen within the ostello is well equipped. Everything was clean. The ostello could benefit from a little bit of fixing and touching up.

A truly wonderful and very large property and many animals clean and wide open spaces. Relatively few beds in reasonable sized rooms. Good showers. You are able to visit the many animals, there’s table tennis a very large collapsible swimming pool. It is next to the canal very peaceful also an excellent German style pub complete with one litre glasses 10/15 minutes away. Dinner is served outside (if requested) and is most enjoyable

Quiet place to sleep on the Via Francigena. Cold water and communal meal with residents. Peaceful. Not on main route, but easily connects along canal.
