Honest Review After 13 Years of Visiting I’ve been coming to this camping spot for around 13 years, and while I still have a deep love for the community it created, I have to say the campsite itself is not what it used to be. Back in the day, there were fun activities for kids every week, a trampoline on the water, and a great atmosphere. The toilets and showers were spotless, cleaned daily and really well maintained. The restaurant used to host weekly events with music, live bands, and a fun, lively vibe. Unfortunately, a lot has changed. - The trampoline was replaced by a basic raft that’s just not as exciting. - The toilets are still cleaned, but not as thoroughly. There’s been a cobweb hanging in the same spot for at least two weeks. - The showers have visible mold on the ceilings, which is disappointing. - The restaurant is okay food-wise, but the fun events and energy are completely gone. - The prices have gone up every year and are now honestly too high for what you get in return. This place used to be special and a real highlight of the year for us. Now, the only reason I keep coming back is the community we’ve built here over the years. I truly hope the owners consider investing in bringing the old magic back, because right now, it just feels like the heart of the campsite is fading.

We had a perfect stay here, nicely spaced out area for our camper, very kid friendly and awesome view on the lake and mountains, quiet at night. But the most important part: a warm and friendly welcome from the reception staff. One of the staff was always smiling and we had good talks. A bit pricey though but that is normal in this area.

+ Astonishing view of the mountains & lake + Very friendly staff camping & restaurant + Hiking paths in forest with small waterfalls - No pitch privacy: no bushes, trees nor fences to ensure some privacy on your pitch. - No water tap directly at pitch - Not dogfriendly: Although you HAVE TO PAY for your dog(s) stay, there's no facilities for them (Dog shower, beach, play area, drinking fountains, ... ) except for a super small dogfield, which is more a dogtoilet really. All access to the lake water is forbidden for dogs! While they have more need to cool down than humans. So as an animal lover, WE CANNOT RECOMMEND this camping. - Expensive: 1 night with camper
