Springwell Cottage

Stayed here for a few nights before new year. Weather was awful but location and cottage was lovely. Pretty much on the Hardian's Wall path and about 20 minutes walk to Sycamore gap. Nice place if you want to do some exploring around Hexham and the nearby Roman forts. Really good for star gazing as well. Rooms are big and water pressure is good. We had a few power cuts but power came on after a few minutes. Only downside is you get a lot of people walking past the cottage as it's so close to Hardian's Wall.

Lovely cottage close to Hadrian's Wall, The Sill and Vindolanda. The only negative things are that there is only 1 bathroom for 6 guests to share and there is no EV charger. The Sill does have an EV charger but charges £10 overnight parking fee while you use it.
