This should be on everyone's Via Francigena stop list, although a little way from the main route. The welcome you receive is so personal it's like going to visit your own Nonna. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped, with a genuinely comfortable bed. We had a view of Rome from our room, and it was certainly inspirational. Nonna M will happily give advice about restaurants and can arrange lifts if needed. A1+++

Omgosh! This place is amazing. The hostess, Mirella, is a kind hearted person who truly cares about your stay. She organised a restaurant in town for us and offered lifts to and from (we declined the lift, because we like to walk and it was only a 10 minute walk into the town) the place. The breakfast was vast and my partner who is Gluten Intolerant was well catered for. Much love for this place and Mirella ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This Bed and Breakfast was recommended by a fellow pilgrim on the Via Francigena. I was told it was "the best B&B" in Formello, but I believe it was the best in Italy. The hostess went above and beyond seeing to our comfort from the moment we walked in the door, to driving us to a restaurant, and to helping us find a driver to Rome. She is the NICEST lady you'll meet. If a room is available, BOOK IT - you won't be disappointed.
