Hôtel Epicéa Lodge

We stayed here for New years. Abit expensive but worth it if you want to enjoy the ski slopes and village. Open even in the snow! Feels different to other tourist ski resorts, at the time was mainly locals enjoying what's on their door step ;) We felt terrible at skiing along side these pros.

Great staff, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was basic, yet fulfilling. The staff's kindness was noticable, and quite refreshing. Would stay again during the summer or winter.

Epicéa Lodge is a small hotel at the outskirts of Pralognan-la-Vanoise. It is surrounded by a quite campsite, creating open views on the surrounding mountain range. The rooms are clean and tidy and the staff is very friendly and helpful. All at a much better price than the big hotels in Pralognan. Good food too, try the delicious Savoyard burger if you can handle a whopping big beef burger covered in Brie cheese.
