Had a lovely weekend break in Switzerland beside a beautiful lake and snow capped mountains across the lake. My room had an incredible view of the lake and mountains in the background. The room was very nice, with a good sized balcony to have a coffee on in the mornings. Good sized room, nice bathroom. Only negative of the room was that walls were thin, and a 5:45am phonecall, by the loud, inconsiderate occupant next door, woke me up. I ordered room service which was delivered quickly and the food was of a high standard, and cooked extremely well. I read that the hotels restaurant is recognized by the Michelin Guide for its high-quality French cuisine, and the stunning, panoramic views of the Lake and mountains alone, are worth seeing. The lake itself is Lake Geneva, which had a lot of surrounding vineyards, which i took a lovely stroll around. The whole area surrounding the lake provides great treks whichever direction you decide to go. The hotel also has a lovely spa area, which i unfortunately didnt have the time to make full use as i was busy exploring the views, the lake and outdoors. I will be back again soon though, highly recommended, though i will discuss the noise issue before deciding which room i book for my next visit

The location of the hotel was perfect and view from my room was beautiful. Room itself was below average, very dusty. I was not happy with the service due to absence of personelle at the reception. I could not access sauna as there was no employees.

We went to the restaurant for lunch. The views are absolutely stunning. On the other hand, the food was mediocre. I would suggest stopping by for a drink on the terrace, or trying their terrace menu rather than dining in the restaurant, as the price-to-quality ratio just isn’t there. It’s definitely worth visiting the terrace for a drink or a quick bite to make the most of the view. The quality of the food was average at best, and the prices were too high. The location is amazing. We had the ravioli and the filets de perche, and both dishes lacked depth of flavor.
