Very spacious accommodation (contrary to what was described on the rental website) and well-equipped. The person waited for us due to our very late arrival. The only minor drawback (spring beds, a little noisy when you move around)

A great place to spend a vacation on the coast surrounded by nature. Rooms have everything you need, a pool, and a barbecue. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, with lots of flora and fauna in the surroundings and a cool breeze. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It could perhaps use a little more maintenance, but overall, everything is clean and in good condition.

On the positive side, the location is somewhat elevated on a mountainside, offering interesting views of Gibraltar, Ceuta, the sea in the distance, etc. It's also surrounded by nature, with abundant trees and gardens, bordering the Los Alcornocales Natural Park (a highlight if you like birds, but not if you don't enjoy the countryside—there are lots of critters everywhere). The temperature is stable every day (in August), with mild mornings and warm afternoons, but never exceeding 40 degrees Celsius. The pool is quite usable, although shade would be welcome. Peace and quiet are paramount. On the negative side, it lacks all kinds of services and infrastructure. The existing rooms vary greatly in quality and location within the farmhouse itself, so be aware of this! Ask for a different room if you're unsure. Most rooms are poorly cleaned and furnished, and are very basic. You might find yourself without towels, sheets, toilet paper, etc. They smell musty and stale (unpleasant). The television doesn't work. There's no Wi-Fi unless you're right next to reception. Most rooms lack air conditioning (it's unbearable in summer), and there are no mosquito nets. The entire complex is on a steep slope and is quite large, so you're constantly going up and down stairs, which is especially noticeable if you're carrying luggage or are elderly. There are stairs inside the rooms themselves to reach the bedroom with the bed (some people couldn't manage them). Parking is free and adequate within the complex. There's a basic bar next to reception (there's no sign and they don't tell you about it upon arrival) where you can have breakfast, and that's it. There are no vending machines to buy water, drinks, snacks, ice cream, etc. We had to pay as soon as we arrived (they accept cash and cards). There's no shade in the pool area, except for the occasional bit provided by the trees, which is minimal.
