Cetate Hotel

I booked this hotel for my parents' stay. Good value for the money, especially if you want a location just next to the citadel. The room was clean and warm. Staff was great and helpful. Disliked · It was quite cold for the breakfast buffet due to renovation.

Do not eat at the restaurant! 2 soups, 1 pasta and 1 french fries in 2 house! Everything was ordered at 19:00 and received at 21:30. Impossible.... Order food from Gherla... you will eat faster! In the restaurant were 20 people ... 10 of them ordered ao 18 o'clock! Shame 😭😭😭😭.

Worst experience I had through Booking. I booked my room in Hotel Cetate, got the confirmation, and when I arrived at the hotel they said that all the rooms are already booked and I'm not on their list. I showed them the reservation confirmation on my phone, but they said there's nothing they can do.... all rooms are booked. So I had to look for a different hotel. That's awkward, never happened to me, but I guess there's a first time for everything. Anyway, this wasn't professional at all, so I just wanted to share my experience with Hotel Cetate.
