Excellent hostel, free transfers to and from the lake provided every day. Beautiful location, great breakfasts. Staff incredibly friendly! Would definitely recommend staying here!

I give it a good rating for two reasons. First, the owner, Mrs. Marija Jakelj, whose simplicity enchanted and touched me deeply. Second, her determination to go out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. I thank her and Tara, her dog, who makes this place so honest and uniquely simple. No one should go to a place that doesn't offer the right assistance and service. We could be sure of two things: breakfast and Wi-Fi. The rest is beside the point, as it's a house converted into guest rooms. You have to have the same basic standards as Marija to stay at her hostel. Eating her fried eggs with love because she makes them for you. As soon as you go downstairs in the common room open for breakfast. You won't notice the rest. The scenery outside is stunning. There are three good restaurants nearby. And the property is located near Bled and the Vintgar Gorge. The village has a well-equipped train station and bus service to Ljubljana, Bled, and other nearby towns. The accommodation price is quite reasonable compared to Bled.
