Hotel del Lago 1934 & SPA Piediluco- il Bosco nel Bosco

We had a very pleasant stay overall. A special mention goes to Veronica in the breakfast restaurant — she was exceptionally helpful, welcoming, and a real credit to the hotel. Reception staff were also very friendly and efficient, both at check-in and check-out. The lake views are truly stunning, particularly from the restaurant, and were a highlight of our visit. There were a few minor issues during our stay: the fridge switched on and off quite frequently, the power went out once (though reception resolved it quickly), and the toiletries hadn’t been fully replenished, which meant we ran out. We also noticed a limited selection of tea and coffee, and only bath towels were provided rather than hand towels. Despite these small points, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend the hotel, especially for the breath-taking views and excellent service from Veronica and the reception team.

Lovely hotel, amazing views, comfy bed, all excellent. Doesn't have a full service restaurant for dinner - a la carte - but the breakfast was really good.

Rooms are ok.. we paid extra for panoramic room but what we got is a room with great view (yes) but with glass door to a public balcony. This meant we had 2 options - have 0 privacy (and i mean 0 as anyone passing by could look straight into the entire room) or see the lake. They had "sectioned" off a piece of balcony for this "panoramic room" but it was by putting a few vases on floor. Did nothing to really separate space. Our other room for our family was a "Basic" which was exactly that - basic. The hotel itself is overall nice with amazing views of the lake and has huge potential. However, it is significantly understaffed and not well managed which is a shame. The spa is very nice touch and added to the enjoyment of the hotel. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
