Grimisdale Guest House

We had to find somewhere to stay when our ferry was cancelled and we're pleased there was a vacancy here. The welcome was warm and friendly, the house comfortable, and the view across the loch (when we could see it due to the storm!) stunning. The hostess, Carolann, is lovely - very quick sense of humour and great to chat with. Breakfast, which was very tasty, is available between 8am and 9am and served at a shared table in the living room. Highly recommended.

Stayed at grimisdale on the 22nd having stayed there many times before with the previous owner it was strange going back there with a new owner but what a welcome I got when we went in carolanne was very welcoming on our arrival she showed us to our rooms that had been decorated to a very high standard everything was spotless carolanne pointed out we had a complimentary gin in our room this was a lovely touch the bed was very comfy what a great night's sleep I got and in the morning we were served a fantastic breakfast I will definitely be going back to stay again and would highly recommend the guest house to everyone thanks carolanne 10 out of 10 for your hospitality

Stayed here 23rd January 2026 an absolute pleasure to stay here the rooms are well decorated and spacious same as the bathroom exelent shower, amazing big bath towels, the whole place is spotlessly clean , Carolanne the landlady is a lovely woman with a great sense of humour very chatty went above and beyond to make our stay memorable it has amazing views there's a loch right on the back door step would recommend staying here to anyone
