Hotel Der Waldhof - Zell am See

The bar at Waldorf is the best in the city! The 2 Argentinian guys at the bar gave me the most spectacular service ever! I’ll definitely come back next year! I love the hotel, the bar and Sebastian 1 and 2. What a lovely people. Thank you!

We had high expectations for our stay at the Waldhof however was left a little disappointed. We found the reception staff unfriendly and unhelpful. We upgraded to a junior suit, however there are no kettle facilities, no water in the room, children’s pillows and quilts had no covers and very basic. The indoor pool is great, however piles of dirty towels left on the floor and no changing facilities, meaning we would need to walk through the hotel/use the lift in wet swimwear and towels. The pool is far too busy! Location isn’t great if sking with small children, a 10 minute walk with ski equipment to the nearest lift. Even usuing the bus means a small walk Hidden charges for robes/kettles Soft play facilities are great, but in a part of the hotel where you cannot leave your children, and therefore require you to sit and watch but there are no chairs! We found the manager Joseph to be rude.

Very bad! We have reserved and prepaid. We have received a very dirty room with insects inside. Told to the hotel noone did a thing about it. Not even near to the slope or skilift.😂 Food: 10/3, at least you have something but better to go out and eat. Car Charging: no free spot, the hotel dont know who’s charging so, they cant let the other know if their car is fully charged. This means you cant charge. 🤨🙄 Reception: 2 young people: unpolite and unprofessional. They sending you away to other place if you want to use the hotel service. Or if you need anything which is a bit complicated. 🤮😵😵‍💫
