A beautiful hiking area. We hiked to the Seekarspitze (3 hours), and you can continue on to the Seebergspitze (an additional hour) and descend via Pertisau. It's an elevation gain of 1100 meters from Achenkirch; the last section requires using your hands to scramble over rocks, as there are no fixed ropes. Superb views of Lake Achensee.

This time, we didn't miss the place, and it was incredibly impressive. Nature seems to be, or rather still seems, pristine. A beautiful day in perfect harmony with the surroundings. You can hike there or drive. We have a soft spot for the mountains. The Karwendel Nature Park is highly recommended, as it offers many unique activities...
