Hotel Grindelwalderhof

Excellent hotel. The rooms are newly renovated and everything is extremely clean! The staff is very nice and friendly. Breakfast is varied and with many regional and fresh products. Absolutely lovely. We stayed in the First apartment.

Located right on the main street, with a small square and bus stop at the entrance — super convenient. There’s parking both in the basement and behind the hotel (CHF 10 per day; just park first and tell reception). I’d recommend the rear parking lot even though it’s a bit tricky to find. The room was larger than expected, with a spacious balcony (too bad half the mountain view was blocked by a big tree 😅). Very clean and tidy, and even though it’s next to a bus stop, it wasn’t noisy at all. The only downside: weak water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was surprisingly good — the dining room is big and the spread quite rich, small but complete. Overall, a great choice if you enjoy staying somewhere lively and central. And anyway, it's so cheap compared to others.

Hotel is at a prime location and conveniently located within walking distance to the bus, train and first walk. There’s a grocery at the ground level of the hotel and a Coop 5 minutes walk from it. The staff are all welcoming. Shout out to Julius for giving us free breakfast during our stay. The breakfast is very good. We booked the Eiger apartment and the views are amazing. The apartment is very spacious and has all the necessary equipments that made our stay comfortable. It was very quiet at night though it’s located on the main road. We had such an amazing time at Grindelwald and this hotel made our stay comfortable.
