Gavarnie Gîte Le Tésy de vacances

The cottage is well located with a nice view, but not much else. We rented the top floor with three bedrooms. The beds, and especially the mattresses, are very old; the springs gave us bruises. The old shower cubicle is made of plastic and looks ready for the bin. As a result, the shower is quite unpleasant. The kitchen is very poorly designed; the worktop is inaccessible (sloping ceiling at 1.5 meters). The living room is small; there are only two places for the sofa, no armchair. The parquet floor creaks terribly; I feel sorry for the tenants on the first floor. The outdoor space is limited to a picnic table against a wall in front of the owners' windows and in the parking space, so we didn't use it. Don't count on walking to the village; it's very inconvenient. The owner's welcome, however, is friendly. This cottage benefits from its location and the lack of competition in the area.

When you wake up in the morning to a view like this, what more can you say? Well, I thank the hosts of this gîte who offered us this magnificent space of peace and nature.
