Unfriendly. Unprofessional. Chilly welcome. If you have a choice, I’d recommend staying elsewhere. Only a thin cloth curtain separates the guest area from the family’s home, so there is not much privacy and you can hear even quiet discussions. The rooms are OK. I found a big spider, it didn’t bother me, but could be disconcerting to others.

Reserved their two bedroom suite on Booking but was extorted for more money in cash on arrival. The owner insisted that my friend and I must share a room (and a bed!) or else pay extra on the spot. Despite showing email confirmations, screenshots and even having Booking intervene (they agreed with us: we had clearly booked TWO rooms! - if the owners wanted to rent only one room, they should edit their listing) and even though all that was at stake was just making the second bed, they wouldn't relent and demanded we pay extra in cash (money for which, to this day, weeks later, they have not provided the requested receipt - though Booking thankfully intervened and refunded us). I have never met a couple of bed and breakfast owners so unpleasant and miserly - even more shocking as we were there in the off-season when the town is half deserted, 2 out of 3 bakeries are closed and it's not like there are many potential tourists clamouring to rent anything. They also tried to argue with us about the room temperature (which we found uncomfortably cold - with a night low of 12C on 29/09/2021 and pouring rain, it was obviously not pleasant inside with the heating off - but they tried to argue it was "fine" because they wanted to save money on energy - in a case of diverging concepts of "fine", shouldn't the paying customers' comfort take priority?). To be fair, they did turn the heat on eventually, and the property was clean and modern but they obviously only care about milking guests for money and have no actual sense of hospitality. Update re. owner's answers - fun fact: the night temperature on the date in question can easily be checked by anyone on any weather site archive - it was 12C and raining, like I said - it's a small detail, but illustrates how compulsively and carelessly these people lied about everything.

The host was incredibly attentive, kind, and friendly. We stayed one night. The accommodation was very clean, the bedding comfortable, and the neighborhood quiet. We would definitely stay again.
