The venue is perfect for celebrations. It's a shame it's just the venue. I held a communion there, and the owner complained about the music, telling the DJ to turn it down or he'd leave or cut the power (even though it was 10 pm, when we were allowed until 11 pm, as agreed in the contract). One of the enormous mastiffs wandered into the middle of the communion in the afternoon, which was completely inappropriate since it was reserved for the celebration, and many children were frightened by it. To top it all off, at 10:45 pm, he turned off the lights, siccing two mastiffs on the guests so we'd leave early, even though we were just finishing cleaning up. Besides the €1000 I paid to rent the property for less than 24 hours, he also charged me an extra €25 for setting up a bouncy castle (for the lights). The bathroom pipes were broken, and water was leaking onto the lawn where the children were running and playing. Every time my guests went into the bathroom, they had to mop up the water from the toilet. It was a disgrace. On top of that, they charged me 25 euros for not cleaning the toilets, even though I had emptied the trash cans and dried everything. In short, they complained about everything, even though tables and chairs were included in the price, regardless of the number of guests. At 12:15 a.m., they came to clean up the castle and didn't even leave us any lights on to make it easier. In summary, I paid 900 euros for the rental and a 100 euro deposit, and they ended up returning only 50 euros. The owner kept coming down to complain about the music and the time. You can't rent anything like that. If you don't meet the conditions and the contract, don't rent it.
