Sobe "Jazbec" Idrsko

We had a wonderful stay. A cosy and quiet place with amazing surrondings. Beautiful garden. The rooms are clean, with hotel*** standard, and cleaned daily. We got more then expected. Breakfast rather in Italian style (sweet) but ham, cheese is served as well, a little selection, fair enough. A lovely, humble host, thank you so much for your serenity and hospitality. This is a place we would like to come back. Fast Wifi. Comfortable beds.

Beware, the most horrible vacation experience I can remember! The same people own two different facilities in Idrsko: Sobe Jazbec and Gostišče Jazbec. I've made a reservation for Sobe Jazbec because of the good reviews (quiet, beautiful nature, fabolous breakfast, nice garden around the house ...). When I got there, they gave us a room in Gostišče. The room was not available at the time they told us it would be, so we had to wait for another hour. The room they gave us was close to and facing a very busy road so there was a constant loud noise beacause of the traffic between 6 AM and 10 PM. The room was also facing the outdoor tables of the restaurant part of Gostišče so we could usually hear loud guests until 11 PM. The breakfast was far from fabolous. The same cheap boring marmelade, Nutella, salami and cheese from the supermarket every day. Bad experiences don't end here. On checkout I didn't receive any bill. When I reminded them of that, they only gave me a bill for paying the tourist tax, but not for the room. Cheaters, stay away.

I Stayed here whilst doing a roadtrip to help a good friend move house. Very traditional, welcoming place, lovely people, I would recommend to anyone who loves picturesque peaceful surroundings
