Short House Chesil Beach

What a wonderful 4 days at Short House Chesil Beach. Have always wanted to stay ‘On Chesil Beach’ 😁 Thank you Dan for the lovely warm welcome on arrival. We enjoyed our chats together. Short House is very comfortable and very well equipped but the magic is the location! We could have sat outside all day - weather permitting - to admire the fabulous view. Lovely walks to the beach which was clean and quiet. The sunsets were memorable and the magical star-studded skies were such a joy! Lots to see in the area and plenty of good long walks. Well worth a visit.

We had a fantastic stay here over a few days. The cottage is immaculate and had everything you could hope for. Andrew was super helpful and the environment was lovely including a well managed garden and beautiful horses. Being so close to the beach is a major bonus with a lovely walk in both directions. I would highly recommend and hope to visit again soon.

Frankly, how anyone could complain about this idyllic location is beyond us. We recently spent a week in a slice of paradise where owner Andrew and groundskeeper Dan could have done nothing more to make our stay one of the best we have ever experienced. The location, cleanliness and overall quality of the amenities were nothing short of superb and whether it be the beautiful views, sound of the roaring sea or breathtaking sites close by, this truely is a hidden gem. If you can appreciate nature, this is the place for you. With our heartfelt thanks, we are sure to return. The Cox family!
