Lovely campsite with geese and other birds wandering around! Owner is very friendly. Showers are good but could do with some extra hooks etc and they often flood which isn't great if you've left anything on the floor outside of the shower. The grass is well maintained and the fields well segregated into a group camp and family camp area which makes getting a quiet nights sleep or loud party night easy depending on what you're wanting.

This has the potential to be a great site. The views are amazing, with great sunsets every evening. The animals are lovely and good for children, with chickens, guineafowl, and a couple of sheep. There are free range eggs for sale from them. The rules are sensible enough for the site to be enjoyable but not crazy. The facilities were nicely clean and the management helpful. However, for the amount of people that were booked in for the 2021 May bank holiday weekend there were not enough facilities for the amount of families. Only one washing up sink, very few loos and the showers were still under construction when we arrived, although these were better by the time we left, going from 4 to 8. There weren't enough bins for the number of people, and putting them in front of the showers was slightly disgusting. Tents were very packed together which made fires slightly difficult; it did ease up by the Monday as people left. Overall the site itself was nice, but the management and planning subpar. I could see it becoming a great destination, but as of writing this I wouldn't recommend it.

We loved our stay here this past week. Richard the farmer was very warm welcoming and friendly, even when the little 2 kept pestering for the play area to be fixed which Richard did complete. The only negative was none of the hand dryers were working which is fine if there is something in their place to dry your hands which there were no alternatives. Great place to stay 👌 the fridges and freezer were definitely an added bonus 😀
