Hotel Torre del Fuggisole

The hotel is an old tower that has Been restored in a stylish way. The room are modern, very clean and comfortable. The bed and cushions are very comfortable as well. There is a covered sitting space at the top of the building with a breathtaking view. In the lowest floor there is a common Area with cold and warm drinks offered as a courtesy. In the morning there are some snacks as well. The check-in process was easy. The staff was very friendly and customer oriented and you could find them there during the day. We were offered a room with a beautiful view as our room was not ready yet. Honestly we appreciated this a lot. The hotel is also close to the city center and it is possible to walk from the train station as well. We would come back for sure...

Fabulous hotel room at the top of the tower (55 steps) and 42 steps. We bought sandwiches and wine to sit at the little room at the top that night and look over the roofs of Siena. That was so romantic and fun. The staff was courteous and charming. The rooms are compact but perfect. The bathrooms in both rooms were clean and very nice. We would not hesitate to stay here and will be recommending this to family and friends.

I stayed at this hotel in December for three nights (“45 steps”). In short, it was perfect — an excellent location, quiet, clean, comfortable etc. Nothing overly fancy, but truly relaxing and well cared for. Complimenti to everyone involved in the renovation of this place! Not a single false note. As many have mentioned, talking with Sarah, Felicia, and Marco was a real pleasure. I hope to return when the third floor of the Pinacoteca is reopened after renovation. Via Francigena is a block away. Siena Cathedral is stunning, even though many marble floor panels were closed (I guess, low season). There was another sciopero on the day of departure, but getting to Bologna was not that difficult, although you had to improvise.
