Nóra's Guest House

We took an extra rest day here while on our Via Transilvanica journey and it was a great decision. Nóemi and Joszef are two of the kindest people we’ve met during our one month (so far) in Romania. We felt like we’d been adopted into the family from the moment we met them. Our room was comfortable, but the comfortable downstairs living/dining room (with its excellent coffee machine available all day), and the large outdoor veranda (with comfy old couches that evoke memories of being at the cottage) made lazing about a real treat. The food and the (apparently) bottomless Palinka supply were wonderful - with everything served with care and affection. Nóemi had someone do a load of laundry for us, and anything else we might want we only needed to ask. Prices are reasonable; food was great; and the hosts were superb. What more can one ask? Highly recommended.

We spent the New Years’ Eve at this guest house with our friends and our 5 month old baby. We highly recommend it to anyone seeking for a peaceful, comfortable stay. It’s also great for a large group of friends. The hosts offered us delicious, traditional food, and they were very friendly. We will return in a few months, for sure! 😊

Location / village was beautiful. The lad, who let us in was really nice and explained everything, and recomded a good dinner place too. On the other side we were a bit disappointed regards the rooms and bathrooms cleanliness. The building need to have updated pictures too. For a rush stay is ok, but for longer stay not really.
