Thanks to Mr. Renato, who delighted us with his life stories and his knowledge of the battlefields of the Karst Plateau during World War I. We appreciated the tranquility of the place, a true relief from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The room and bathroom were truly spacious and clean, and breakfast included biscuits, bread, and jams made directly by Mr. Renato. We highly recommend this B&B, run with true passion!

Nestled in the quiet of the hill, we were welcomed by Mr. Renato, who entertained us with his stories and delighted us with his excellent cakes and biscuits for breakfast. The only downside: it wasn't very private. One of the two doors in the Cloe room has glass, so you can see inside from the hallway. The sea is a 10-15 minute drive away, the giant cave is a half-hour drive, and elegant Trieste is about 40 minutes away. There are excellent restaurants and trattorias serving traditional cuisine nearby. The location is excellent for trekking in the Karst and visiting sites linked to the First World War. We had a great time and returned recharged and with many fond memories... and with cherries picked in the garden!
