Just got back from a 3 night camp, originally went for 2 but loved it so much! Beautiful site very peaceful and the tarn was a short walk and amazing place for a wild swim to cool off from a day hiking the surrounding mountains. Lots to do in the surrounding area or just chill out at camp. We went mid week so it was very quiet, really friendly and accommodating owners. Basic amenities but you don't really more for a couple of days. Definitely be returning, I didn't want to leave!!

This is a back to basics campsite. No showers or washing facilities. That suited me just fine being used to wild camping. The location is wonderful with the tarn right next to you and the view is wonderful. The lack of facilities is reflected in the price and it's very cheap. I had a wonderful stay here despite the incessant rain. 😂

It’s a basic campsite, two toilets (Fairly clean), a cold water tap and some soap. Lovely views and some small flat pitches if you look for them. Lovely views and £6 ahead (Aug 2023). It is as described by the owners. If you want a bar, showers, hot water etc this isn’t the place for you.
