Casa Sulla Francigena

Rosa and Pino are excellent hosts and really make the extra mile to make you feel at home. The small apartment has its own private garden and when you wake up in the morning you can see the sun rising behind the magic Castle of Monteriggioni on the other side of the fields and vineyards! We were there for a couple of nights when we needed to be on the Via Francigena for a bike event in March! Just perfect :-)

Five stars aren't enough for the service Pino provided us: in addition to letting us use his beautiful little house on the Via Francigena, he gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and drove us to the historic center of Monteriggioni and the supermarket. We enjoyed dinner on his terrace in the quiet of the Tuscan countryside and slept comfortably in the double room. Pino even left the fridge stocked with milk, fruit, and pastries for breakfast the next day. Thank you, Pino, you're fantastic!
