B&B Cerila

We stayed with Angela and Tony for a week in September 2025. The German hosts are particularly charming, conjure up a high-quality, customized breakfast, and are always available for good, friendly conversation and excursion tips. The easiest way to get to Trieste is by bus (it runs directly along the road to the final stop in Trieste). Tony and Angela explained everything to us in German and also got us a strip ticket (1 trip, 1 person = €1.50). Stairs lead directly to the sea for swimming and the boat dock. Our guest room in the newly built wooden house, with its terrace, offered a breathtaking view over the Gulf of Trieste from Grado to Savudrija. It was our first time in this special place on earth, but certainly not the last. Thank you so much, Angela and Tony, for this wonderful vacation!

We spent a few days with Angela and Toni at the beautiful and very comfortable B&B Cerila to celebrate my wife's milestone birthday. We've often vacationed in Trieste because we love the city and its unique charm. Luckily, we found this gem for her special birthday getaway. Our relatively compact convertible easily managed the steep and somewhat narrow driveway. What awaited us at the top was simply "spettacolo" (spectacular). A beautiful wooden house with cozy rooms and a wonderful terrace overlooking the Gulf of Trieste – a truly special place. On my wife's birthday, Toni greeted us on our sunny terrace with flowers, two glasses, and a small bottle of Prosecco. What a surprise! Our conversations with Toni about Trieste and the surrounding area were generally very interesting, and his service was outstanding. Unfortunately, I was plagued by a nasty case of gastroenteritis in the middle of our holiday. Toni noticed and immediately provided me with organic chamomile tea. Incredibly kind! If you want to go into the city, you should definitely take advantage of the exceptionally good and inexpensive bus service. A day ticket for Trieste and the surrounding area costs less than three hours in a parking garage! We will definitely stay with Angela and Toni again when we come back to Trieste and can wholeheartedly recommend the Cerila B&B!

Despite the pouring rain in Trieste, we had a wonderful time with our welcoming hosts, who not only created a cozy, homely atmosphere in their beautiful, modern B&B, but also provided us with excellent service, including Angela's delicious and creative breakfast and plenty of practical tips. The very steep driveway was a challenge with our large station wagon and bike trailer, but in the end, it worked out perfectly thanks to Tony's support. Sitting on the wooden terrace in the sunshine with a view of the sea must be a dream. We would come back anytime. Thank you for everything ⭐️⭐️⭐️
