Haus Kleinod

We spent one week in September this year at Haus Kleinod with my husband and our 10-month-old son, and we were truly impressed. The accommodation is in a beautiful location, just a short walk from the lake. Everything is tastefully furnished, with lovely details that even inspired me for our own home. We felt right at home — the kitchen and bathroom are equipped with everything you might need, including things you wouldn’t even think of. Everything was new, perfectly tidy, and spotlessly clean. The host was very kind and helpful; we could turn to her with anything. She gave us great tips for trips with a baby and even lent us toys and a blanket for the lake. There are restaurants and shops nearby, and you can take a boat ride on the lake or go up the mountain by cable car — there are really many ways to spend your time here. A train runs through the area, but it's quiet at night and nothing disturbed us. We would love to come back.

We spent a whole week in this beautiful little house. For a couple it was simply perfect. We highly appreciated that the hosts have thought about every little thing you might need - from coffee, sugar, spices in the kitchen to period products and after-sun-lotion in the bathroom and even spare phone chargers and batteries. In front of the house is a perfectly landscaped garden. We had all of our meals on the terrace overlooking the garden and enjoyed the view of the lake. The lake is only a couple minutes walk away. The hosts were very welcoming and helped with advice about what we should see, do and eat in the area. Even though there is a railway track right next to the house, it really wasn't disturbing for sleeping, because there are no trains during the night, and during the day you sometimes even forget it's there. I would definitely want to come back next year and stay even longer.

The evenings are quiet and peaceful, allowing you to fully relax and unwind from the daily rush — exactly what you want for a perfect holiday stay.
