Camping Cascade Luxemburg

We have never stayed here, and that’s exactly the point. We were genuinely considering this campsite, until we read how the owner responds to reviews on Google Maps. When a business publicly insults and attacks guests instead of addressing criticism professionally, that says everything we need to know. I’m sure the owner will reply to this one as well, probably in the same hostile tone. But that will only prove my point. Edit: Owner’s reply below = case closed.

We arrived June 1st and the camping was really quiet. There were only two or three others. Some people (I believe family of the owners) told us that we could pick a place and that the owners would be there later that day to check us in. The sanitary building was only open on the men’s side so everyone used that bathroom (toilets, sinks and showers). The place was clean, but there was no toiletpaper. The showers cost €1 for 4 minutes (we got €2 from the owner to use in the shower). The village (if you can even call it that) is not interesting at all. But you are in the perfect spot for all the nearby hiking trails! The only downside is a pretty busy road is right next to the campsite so you will have to bear the noise of that.

This camp ground is two nights minimum which it would have been nice to mention on the website. So if you want to spend one night in Mullerthal with electricity (and not just a parking lot to sleep), highly recommend going to a neighbouring town.
