Hotel Coma

Restaurant Review ONLY..... Avoid ever eating at outdoor terrace buffet restaurant. The food was genuinely bad. Ultra sweet store bought sangria, Nasty dead overcooked low quality BBQ meat, watery gazpacho, poor quality vegetables and side dishes, poorly groomed waiters, generally ugly table settings, filthy dirty condiments. Below average uninterested service staff. Only positive was the delightful piano player.

We spent three nights at Coma's. What we liked: the beautiful and open views from the balcony The clean room and comfortable bed The blond lady at the reception who was friendly and efficient The mini golf The outdoor (free) parking The beautifully maintained lawn What we didn't like - The poor, lonely bird in a tiny cage on the desk at the reception. Seriously, who keeps a bird trapped like that??? - The noise: there was a wedding the first day and the village party until 4:30 a.m the following days. You hear your neighbours and you smell their cigarette smoke. We had different expectations from our peaceful days in the mountains - The hotel needs refurbishing: half the lightbulbs in the lobby are missing, the tub and door panels are heavily scratched, the fridge didn't cool properly, the trash bin pedal was broken, the elevator takes you to an untidy basement to exit the hotel etc. The small pool was too cold to try. In summary, the hotel has a lot of potential but needs some additional love and care.

Decent Hotel for a good price. The rooms could need a little overhaul. But in general it was clean and nice. The included dinner was very ok for the price. Nice selection of spanish vines for a good price. Staff and waiters were very friendly. Every room has a balcony. The view on the mountains is very picturesque. Nice Hotel Bar and a Billard table in the lounge.
