The hotel is generally okay, but there were some important downsides. Although we stayed for 3 nights, no one came even once to clean the room, change the towels, or make the bed, which was quite disappointing. I also didn’t like the parking situation. Even though there is parking in front of the hotel, you need to be lucky to find a free spot. If there are no spaces available — which happened often — there is nowhere else to leave your car, as they rent the parking spaces to anyone. The children’s playroom is very poorly equipped, with almost nothing for kids to actually play with, which was another letdown. On the positive side, the location is great and the breakfast was good.

The rooms were clean and nicely designed, with a fantastic view. Breakfast was good but nothing special, with limited savory options. The service was unacceptable — we had booked three rooms, and none of them had heating. After struggling to find their phone number, I finally contacted the reception, but the staff member answered irritably and showed no willingness to help. In the end, they never assisted us.

So this appears to be a hotel that has been designed with a minimalist intention - minimalist as in there is absolutely nothing for guests to do here other than sleep( if you can get to sleep with the amount of noise from your neighbours) It would be better to describe as a bed and breakfast to be honest with you… for starters the hotel is nowhere near the town centre. You have to walk down a hill and that’s fine but there are no shops anywhere near the hotel the nearest supermarket Mercator is in the town. I don’t mind a walk but … The hotel does not sell anything so if you need water or drinks or even a chocolate bar you have to walk down to the town. In fact, this was the first hotel I’ve ever checked into over the last 20 years that did not have some bottled water available in the room. Also there was no fridge in the room so anything we bought for the supermarket we just stuck out side on the window ledge. It seems absolutely bizarre to me that a hotel which boast of its location right on the edge of the peace will find people €50 for walking through the reception wearing ski boots. The hotel is full of screaming kids running around on the corridors. There is only one elevator in the entire hotel for four floors and I guess there would’ve been at least 150 guests there. All the doors slam shut they are very very heavy and that resonates with the entire building because there are no hinges to delay or slow the shutting of those doors all the walls and ceilings are paper thin meaning anybody makes a noise flushes a toilet that walks/ jumps around upstairs or does anything in the room next to you can hear it in vivid detail. To their credit, when I complain to security on the Night Shift, they did come upstairs and deal with one of the problems after 10 pm . However, it’s unbearable. I know it’s a family hotel but whenever I take my son on holiday, he doesn’t behave the way that these kids were allowed to behave - running riot. In one room I could hear them playing football. The room had a sort of agricultural smell about it during the daytime the bathroom was fantastic. The shower was fantastic however it did have a habit of at times just changing to random temperatures which could be either scolding or freezing depending on your luck. The games room was very, very good indeed that was the one thing about the hotel that my son really enjoyed I just could not believe that nowhere in the hotel was there any information about the resort about the pistes, or any kind of day trips You could do- or the fact that Lake Jasna was a 10 minute walk up the hill from the hotel, nothing mentioned at all about shuttle buses to a neighbouring resort .. there’s no imagery -even in the lobby ,the fireplace that they have (a fake fireplace) produces no heat. Outside the front door you have a gaggle of chainsmokers at all times. So I don’t know how this hotel gets a three star status. It’s probably two star at best and the food is not even one Star. I’ve probably never had a worse breakfast in a hotel in Europe or Asia or anywhere else on planet Earth except maybe Turkey. And the only reason I bought coffee from the hotel bar was that the coffee in the breakfast buffet was beyond horrific !
