St Mawes Hotel & Restaurant

Popped in for lunch and found it a safe haven on a very wet and windy day. Nice bar area with plenty of space between tables. We had an excellent risotto and a super plate of smoked trout with horseradish crème fraiche and trimmings. Staff were helpful and chatty.

Called in for a beverage on the way back to the holiday accommodation, and it was pleasing to see the place busy. We sat on one of the outside tables and enjoyed beer and cider whilst watching the world go by. Even better, I'd been asked to try a sample of the 🍺, so full marks to the staff. If coming to St Mawes, don't be afraid to stop for refreshments.

We had a fantastic stay at St Mawes Hotel for our first wedding anniversary. The view at dinner was stunning, the service was excellent, and the little touches made it extra special. Thank you to the team for arranging cider and chocolates in our room, and a special mention to Ellie who was so helpful with our bags and a brilliant waitress. Highly recommend!
