Falkensteiner Hotel Sonnenalpe

The best mountain experience so far. This was our first time in the Alps with our 4-year-old daughter, and this hotel turned out to be the perfect choice – a flawless balance of everything we needed to make nature fun for her as well. From the very first moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed at the reception by the wonderful Lorenzo, who, after our long journey, patiently and calmly explained everything, parked our car, and truly made us feel at home. The kids’ playroom is amazing, with a fantastic team that speaks so many languages – even ours – which made it so easy to leave our daughter there while we enjoyed a drink. Speaking of drinks, the food was excellent, with plenty of options to eat and drink at any time. Everything was of high quality, and we have no complaints. We stayed in a Deluxe room, which was very spacious and comfortable. Despite having babies next door, we didn’t hear any noise. The hotel was fully booked, yet it never felt stressful or overcrowded, as there are so many facilities and somehow everything is well balanced. The location is perfect, with lots of free activities available thanks to the Nassfeld Card provided by the hotel. We didn’t even know where to start, and even when it rained for two days, there were still plenty of things to do, so the weather didn’t bother us at all. At first, we thought three nights would be enough since we were on a road trip, but after this experience, we definitely would have stayed longer if we had known how wonderful everything would be. Dog-friendly hotel with very friendly staff and some cool summer bonuses, all inclusive option was really nice. Rooms are well equipped; the bed fit me perfectly, but my wife found it way too hard. The only real downside is the Wi-Fi in the rooms – it’s pretty much useless in some rooms. Otherwise, I really like how the hotel is laid out and the kids had plenty of things to keep them busy.

We stayed in Sonnenalpe for 8 nights and we had a blast. Kids friendly, our daughter enjoyed program and new friends she mad and we had time to relax in the spa. Great food, superb service, everyone was so friendly. Rooms spacious and comfy. I recommend. We will come back.
