This hostel is far from the train station along a dark, unlit road. The front desk staff were very rude and off putting. In the middle of the night a person checked in …. and didn’t shut the door? So it continued beeping for atleast an hour. The doors to the bed rooms do not lock. It cost physical euro coins to “rent” a locker in your own bed room (cannot use personal lock). Women’s bathroom was in the second floor along a dark unlit hallway. The vibe of the hostel is overall creepy. I cannot recommend to stay elsewhere enough.

It doesn’t worth at all! The mentioned price doesn’t include city tax which cost 3€. Moreover, you asked me 3.5€ more for club membership which I don’t need it.. But said that both are mandatory! You should pay about 48€ for a bed!!! I asked for cancellation as it stated “Free cancellation anytime” in booking.com but said even that is not possible! I don’t recommend here to anyone as really doesn’t worth at all! It is better to come back to München with train and rent a same place in half price.. There is no bus to the Hostel even at 8 and the way is a bit scary 🫣 I will not come back here definitely and recommend it to anyone 👎🏻

Last Saturday, we (4 adults) TRIED to sleep in the youth hostel in Füssen. But it was almost impossible because there was a group of guests who were having a very loud social gathering in the garden up to 01:00AM, one hour after I reminded them at midnight that the 22:00 curfew was normally over. And later, again between 03:30 and 04:30 in their room which happened to be next to ours. What a night! On top of it, the bunk beds are extremely noisy (wood cracking) with every single tiny movement. The room, considering the size of it, and the fact that there were no private washroom, was very expensive: 238€ for 4 people in a tiny 3 bunk beds room. Very bad quality/price index. And in the men showers which were very far from the room, there were absolutely no possibility to hang the clothes or towels. I discussed the situation with the friendly and understanding lady at the reception the next morning. Although I did not dare to ask for a compensation for the bad night, I was kind of expecting that she would offer one. However, she did not offer any. The parking lot would benefit from getting lines painted to mark the parking spots. This way, it would compensate the lack of driving/parking skills of the guests, and at least 2 more cars could definitely fit in there. On a positive side, the people at the reception were friendly, considerate and helpful, and the breakfast was great! All in all, I was very disappointed with our stay there and am even seriously considering cancelling our membership.
