Loch Ness Bay Camping

Shower facilities let this Amazing site down sadly. Wonderful friendly welcome, excellent location to see Loch Ness. (About a 10 min walk) But sadly the main shower facilities were closed when we visited, so we had to use a different showering facility which was old, dated and of a 1970s area. Cold, damp, unkempt and old fashioned. I hope this amazing site updates and modernises which will then be perfection.

The campsite itself is nice, and the sanitary facilities are very clean and well-maintained, but there was one big downside: no hairdryer available, and the room with power outlets was locked. That meant we had to walk around with wet hair, which wasn’t great — especially since it was quite cold. I wasn’t the only one; there were lots of people with towels on their heads trying to dry off somehow. Other than that, it’s a pleasant campsite at a fair price, but this small issue really took away from the comfort.

Fantastic location, just off the main road. 2 minute walk into nearby village where there is a shop & takeaway restaurants. Campsite itself is immaculate. Toilets & Showers are clean & each user cleans as they go. Well serviced pitches & well spaced out. Nice view of horses & sheep grazing in surrounding fields.
