An excellent location for relaxing and enjoying the east face of Monte Rosa. Renovated 7 years ago, the property offers full board with excellent value. It's conveniently located for hiking in the mountains. Eight friendly and helpful nuns are available who take care of their guests. There's an outdoor green space equipped for peaceful reading, children's games, a bocce court, and common areas for watching TV and gatherings. In the main house, the rooms are simple (without TVs) but clean and spacious, with bathrooms with bidets and showers. Fixed hours: Breakfast 8-9:30 am; Lunch 12:30 pm; Dinner 7:30 pm. Menus with combinations that aren't always appropriate; abundant, homemade food, with plenty of raw and cooked vegetables for both lunch and dinner. Those who wish can share prayers with the community of nuns: morning prayers at 6:45 am, followed by Holy Mass if possible; rosary at 5:45 pm.

It's our historic place. We've been frequenting the nuns during the summer months for over twenty years. It feels like home. We spent a weekend at this hotel, coinciding with the feast of San Bernardo, the feast of Macugnaga. Besides feeling at home in the atmosphere, we rediscovered the pleasure of eating tasty yet simple dishes. The nuns are always friendly and smiling. It's a fantastic place, suitable for everyone, families and children. They have plenty of space to run and play safely. If you're in the garden, you look around and see the Rosa there, within reach. Fair prices, even for full board. A fairytale place with a fantastic natural setting. Simply fantastic. July 2023 This year too, we stayed at the Sacro Cuore Hotel, and I have to say it wasn't as good as always. The cuisine is a bit different, the food seems a bit "old-fashioned," in the sense that you don't ask for huge dishes. Simple dishes are fine, but more carefully prepared, not overcooked, and then they serve you poorly. You're among the friendly people you wait for and they serve you last; even the atmosphere isn't friendly and sincere, unfortunately I have to say it wasn't positive even if the stay with all the greenery that surrounds you and the Monte Rosa that looks at you is very satisfying.

Clean and very welcoming hotel run by the nuns. Lunches and dinners are very good and plentiful, so much so that you leave the table feeling full!
