Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic, Autograph Collection

The hotel is located right in front of Montreux Station, which is a fantastic location. The staff are all friendly and smiling. There's also a tourist information center nearby, a supermarket at the station, and a Coop nearby. The hotel rooms are carefully cleaned every day during your stay. I recommend a lake view room. Spending time with friends and chatting while looking out at Lake Geneva from the terrace will be a wonderful memory.

Downtown Montreux, right opposite of the train station or you park in the public parking garage at the train station. We stayed there with our dog, service, atmosphere and rooms are top. Very helpful staff, they do anticipate help and not just assume. Really enjoyed our short stay. Lake view is stunning and to be recommended.

Front desk staff extremely lost. Manager is never around. After 2 nights, I finally had opportunity to meet manager when I noticed her scolding my parents disrespectfully about how to obtain wifi. This is where I had to interject and meet this manager named Kadija. She continued to argue and yell at me. Even when I turned to leave, she continued to talk behind our back which was extremely disrespectful. I have never experienced a Marriot manager talk behind me like this, and I'm from New York too. Guests in Montreux should not have to experience the ugly attitude and backtalk of Khadija. Hotel is old of course so not completely up to par but thats understandable. Some staff try their best but ultimately comes down to the poor leadership, attitude and communication of their managers, like Khadija. Needless to say, this will be my last stay at this hotel. The only ok thing about this place is the proximity to the train station. Stay at the Fairmont instead, which is 1 block away.
