Calypso Hotel

My wife and I loved our stay here in the charming town of Ventimiglia, the two ladies on reception were so friendly and lovely, we were able to leave our luggage whilst we had a day trip to Monte carlo. The rooms were great. Ours had a full sized ceiling fan which was the first time we've ever seen this! The breakfast was the best we've ever had especially the fruit pie. The hotel is also in a great location close to the station and the beach. Thank you!

Excellent hotel for 2 stars. New (renovated) rooms are very clean and big enough. Nice balcony. Full bathroom. Breakfast is just continental (no even boiled eggs). Located in 10 mins walk from the railway station. The supermarket is just around the corner.

Pros: nice staff (they spoke English), I was able to store my bicycle in their garage, central location, 24 hour reception, and decent breakfast from 6am-10am. Cons: my room smelled like cigarette smoke 😕 and the noise from both the street and inside the hotel (loud guests) was quite disruptive late into the night—highly recommend ear plugs. Take away: it’s an okay place for a quick one night stay.
