ZillergrundRock Luxury Mountain Resort

Outstanding! This hotel lives up to its name - truly a luxury destination. We had the pleasure of staying in ZillergrundRock hotel for 4 nights and we are already planning our return. This hotel offers it all, not just for the skier/hiker, but also for those who want a luxurious get-away. The pools, the spa, the sauna experiences led by the sauna master, the yoga and meditation classes, proximity to the slope and the surrounding nature -it was just what we hoped for, and more. The hotel is new, modern and thrones as a beautiful piece of architecture. The food is made from high quality ingredients and tastes delicious. Especially memorable was our dining experience at the Rocky Seven; If you appreciate a unique culinary experience then this is the place. We had a twelve course menu with wine pairing and, I must say, this is one of the best menus I have had (with solid ground of comparison!) Exquisite courses that both soothe the eye and the tongue. Also, the wine-pairing was in absolute harmony with the flavours. The team in the restaurant were exceptionally professional and performed their service according to strict, traditional restaurant etiquette. We also had the pleasure of meeting members of the kitchen team, including the Head Chef Saul Sultan. Not only do they make food into tasteful art, they are also incredibly nice people that appreciate meeting the guests. The dishes "Duck on alpine journey" and "Royal refreshments" were absolute highlights and I hope they are still on the menu the next time I wisit Austria and ZillergrundRock.

We spent a fantastic week at ZillergrundRock. The location, the service and the spa installations are exceptional. There are some details, which we wish to be improved in the future, as we will back for sure. No coffee machines in the rooms, the gym equipment is a bit dated and the lunch snack offer is not matching the quality of the resort.

The hotel resort is located in a wonderful spot with truly remarkable views all round. You have the mountains, the forests and the river all before you from your balcony. It’s peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of a city life. The amenities in the resort are secondly to none and everything you want is at your door step. The full board provides you with ample choices of food and allows you to experience a 6 course dinner perfecto presented. Only thing I would say is to provide a halal choice of food. The reception and staff are truly great especially Lucas who made our check in process really effortless. Overall, I will definitely return and request you reserve my room 515 again. 👏 5 Stars
