Hotel Palacete de Mañara

This is the obvious choice to stay in town - an old-style little hotel on the central square, next to the church and the ayuntamiento. Rooms have vintage decor (think wrought-iron bedsteads) and are comfortable enough, and the downstairs bar and restaurant are where the whole town seems to gravitate to. Mucha marcha going on here at all times, so you may want to bring earplugs. Food was decent and service friendly. Definitely an authentic experience.

Under new management since October, and undergoing renovations (new windows, new decor in bedrooms), so it should be fabulous by December. Really excited to see how Alberto and Samanta manage their new venture!
