Stunning location for an overnight stop on the NC500. Make a £10 donation at the Spar, that supports the local community. Views in the different lighting conditions as day turned to night and the blood moon made an appearance. More such places needed across the UK. Recommended

car park has great views to the sea and beach access, toilets not too far of a walk and handy little spar close by. lovely views all around and perfect kayaking spots!

A great little stop off for the night, we were in a roof tent so ended up sleeping in the car as the winds were very high on the night we stayed. The local shop and cafe were both very convenient and friendly. The toilets were very clean but just a 5 minute walk up the road past the cafe.
