See-Areal Steindorf

Booked for a couple of nights as a stopover en route to Venice (2.5 hours on) but completely changed plans and stayed for three weeks. We are late 50s and this was paradise. Lovely restaurant, private beach to massive warm lake and lots to do nearby. Huge pitches and excellent facilities. Nothing for kids so no children on site. Free train travel and Karten card for attractions. The hosts however were so lovely that we miss them already. Will be returning for six weeks next year!!

We had a lovely stay with our camper van and two kids. The owners Wilma and Gerhardt were welcoming, always available and helpful, also Wilma's morning baked goods are not to be missed! The campsite is small, tidy quiet (nearby campsite are quite large and crowded) with super clean facilities, plenty of hot water, and enough showers and sinks. The beach is an absolute gem. Perfect Stay!

Fantastic campsite by the lake. Quiet and a calm place. Gorgeous owners and it’s extremely clean. With a nice restaurant and bar at the location (that is not overpriced) it’s a gem. We and our husky dog felt very welcome. :-)
