Halyard House Guesthouse

Zanne the host made us feel very welcome and we immediately felt we were at home! Lovely room overlooking the marina on the river Dart, with a little balcony to sit at and take in the views. Breakfast is lovely. Either a proper cooked or continental breakfast - all with fresh local produce. Zanne is very helpful with all the information about what to see, where to visit and where to eat, as well as helpful tips on ferry, train or bus travel. Very comfortable room, decent shower and great double bed! Great place to base yourself for exploring the area.

Halyard house is a very clean Bed and Breakfast with excellent breakfast included. There are great views from the bedrooms and also the lounge/dining area. We stayed with out 6 month old baby and had a great time. Its a lovely spot for a glass of wine in the evening too, can't recommend anywhere better in Kingswear.

Zanne has created a lovely place to stay which is welcoming and homely. The rooms are beautiful, clean and airy. She makes every effort in providing all you need in your room from an assortment of tea, coffee and hot chocolate, big fluffy towels and lots of different breakfast choices. Our stay there was a truly happy experience. Lots of local information on what to do. The Access to the premises is up steep steps this would be a problem for some, that is the only downside. Would definitely stay there again.
