Araucaria House

Stayed a few nights last September, during a trip round Galicia. Probably our favourite place to stay - the room was beautiful, the food exquisite, our hostess was very friendly. We would love to come back.

We loved every single thing about this accommodation. The house, the host Maribel, breakfast, room, and all the decorations inside the house and garden. Definitely you will have a great time if you book the stay here, especially outside of high season (we were here at the end of June) we felt like the place is private as there was only one other room out of 8 occupied, with many leisure activities to do without leaving the place. We just loved it! 🤩

This is an exceptional B&B with impeccable grounds, rooms and facilities. You will feel truly pampered. There are little touches and luxurious details everywhere, such as those that you would expect in a high-end hotel and more. For example, you will find mango bath salts, candles, cava, chocolates, slippers, bathrobes, and even an Alexa in your room. There are beautiful sitting areas, both indoors and outdoors, and a lovely garden. The outdoor sitting area has blankets and heaters for when the temperature drops. There is a well-equipped workout room/gym, a playroom for kids and an honesty bar well-stocked with snacks and fresh citrus products for mixing your own drinks. The multi-course breakfast that starts with a beautiful fruit plate is no less amazing. Most of all, Maribel and Manuel are two of the most gracious and personable hosts whom you will meet. They are kind and caring - a perfect team. If you are a cyclist, there is a clean and secure garage to store your bike. Manuel is also a cyclist and will personally escort you on a ride or show you the best way out of town. The Araucaria House is unmistakably a labour of love. It deserves the highest of recommendations!
