Octavia Hotel

We enjoyed our one-night stay and would stay at the hotel again. Great location and the staff we encountered were friendly. Comfy bed, good sized bathtub and everything was clean. Breakfast was good for us but may not be for anyone expecting anything hearty. We appreciated that it was included in the price at any rate. You have to ask for parking but we didn't have an issue with it. As other reviewers said, the TV is small and to be honest, I don't know why hotels even bother with them anymore. A mini-fridge would be a bonus.

Terrible experience with the receptionist. I had booked a room at this hotel, but after the reservation, they required a check-in process that involved sending the ID cards of all guests — like at an airport. It’s just a simple hotel room, not an Airbnb. I called to say I didn’t have time to complete this process and that I preferred to cancel. The woman hung up on me violently. I called back nine times afterward. When I tried calling with a hidden number, she never answered. Pure, sudden hatred. I can confirm the previous reviews: the staff at this so-called “hotel” seem to come straight from hell.

I stayed for two nights on a trip with a friend. The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful. The room had no thrills, but was very clean, comfortable, large enough and practical. Price to value was ok.
