The blanket I was given was full of flees. Clearly they don't bother to clean them

The albergue technically has everything you need, but none of it is great. The entire property is very dark, even with the lights on, which makes it eerie / not very pleasant. The dormitory room has 7 or so bunkbeds, doesn’t feel too cramped, but again is very dark. The worst part is the bathroom, which has toilets so small you barely have enough space to manoeuvre to wipe after taking a poo. The showers are also tiny, and the owner turns off the gas heating for the hot water after a certain hour. The kitchen is okay - we didn’t cook but used the glasses to drink wine, and were surprised to see that it is locked after 8.30pm. We then had to clean the glasses in the morning.

The hostel is simple, but ideal for pilgrims on the Camino seeking peace and quiet. It's located next to the church, in a very quiet location, so rest is guaranteed. What sets it apart from other hostels is Hospitalero Francisco, who is a 10/10, a very kind person who helps you with everything and cares about everything. A super professional. He's one of those people who leaves a lasting impression on you. I was lucky enough to meet him. I highly recommend him.
